Kidz All-Star Camp

Kids in grades 1-6 for the 2013-2014 school year are invited to participate in this new camp owned and directed by Jen Bird and Jeff Wheaton, physical education teachers at C. Hunter Ritchie and Greenville Elementary Schools, respectively. Campers will participate in a variety of fun-filled activities that are kid-tested and enthusiastically approved! Developmentally appropriate, competitive and non-competitive activities will include but are not limited to team sports, fitness activities, cooperative activities, dance, character building themes, and nutrition based activities. Each and every child will receive a great workout, have fun and walk away with valuable knowledge that will help them to make informed healthy choices for themselves and help strengthen our community. Extended hours are available from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 12:30-1:30 p.m. each day. Each camper will receive a t-shirt and a water bottle. A healthy snack will be served around 10:00 a.m. each day. Cost is $185/camper is registered before June 7. Discounts are available if multiple siblings register. Family Fun Night at the Warrenton Community Center

On June 5 in the 8600 block of Bingham Rd, Warrenton, a complainant reported damage to county property. Loss is estimated at $300.

Larceny:

On June 3 in the 2600 block of Atoka Rd, Marshall, a complainant reported theft. Loss is estimated at $7,070. Investigation continues.

On June 4 in the 3500 block of Stagecoach Springs Rd, Catlett, a complainant reported theft. Loss is estimated at $10,800. Investigation continues.

On June 8 in the 2200 block of Crenshaw Rd, Marshall, a complainant reported theft. Loss is estimated at $400. Investigation continues.

Robbery:

On June 6 in the 6200 block of Station Dr, Bealeton, a bank robbery was reported. Investigation continues.

Traffic Accidents:

On June 3 an accident was reported in the 9400 block of James Madison Hwy involving one vehicle. One injury was reported.

On June 5 a hit and run accident was reported in the 12000 block of James Madison St. No injuries were reported.

On June 7 a hit and run accident was reported in the 8600 block of John S Mosby Hwy. No injuries were reported.

On June 7 an accident was reported in the 4000 block of Zulla Rd involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

On June 8 an accident was reported in the 10600 block of James Madison Hwy involving one vehicle. One injury was reported.

On June 8 an accident was reported in the 7200 block of Baldwin Ridge Rd involving one vehicle. One injury was reported. The driver was charged with DUI and refusal.

On June 9 an accident was reported in the 7200 block of Riley Rd involving two vehicles. Two injuries were reported.
