Daily Life in the 1800s at Monroe Park


Come to Monroe Park in Goldvein to watch demonstrations and then join in the fun of washing clothes in a tub, decorating cloth with embroidery, spinning yarn, pie making and more. Civil War artifacts, a working telegraph system, and the world of women’s clothing with living historian Lory Payne. Ages 15 and under must have adult chaperone.
